Couple who were the first to get married abroad at Centara Anda Dhevi Resort talk about their experience

A Danish couple who were the first to tie the knot at the then recently opened Centara Anda Dhevi resort in Thailand back on 18th April 2012, now share their experience of organising a spontaneous beach ceremony with the hotel's team of dedicated wedding planners and destination weddings specialists.

Heidi Jensen and Jan Kirchhoff plan to soon re-visit the place where they got married abroad just four months ago when they exchanged vows at the newly opened Centara Anda Dhevi Resort in Krabi, Thailand. Re-living the memories of their fabulous destination wedding at the resort, they share their experience and explain why, in a spur of the moment decision, they opted to get married there and then during their holidays in Thailand.

Seduced by the resort's paradisiacal setting and the allure of romantic beach weddings, the Danish couple decided to tie the knot on 18th April 2012 and became the first ever couple to tie the know at the brand new resort. Now back home and speaking from their native Denmark, Jan and Heidi talk about how the resort offered them the perfect setting and how they plan to go back to relive those special memores.

“We were staying in Krabi last year at another resort, and at that time, the Centara was just the first day opening,” Jan explained, “We went to take a look, and were so impressed by the building and its setting that we felt it could be ideal for our wedding.

“So we contacted the management and discovered that Centara is a very large and experienced hotel company, and that they have professionals organizing their weddings. That gave us the confidence we needed, so we went ahead and made all our arrangements with them.”

The bride's experience was equally reassuring as Heidi tells of how the level of service given by the staff was an enormous advantage.

“Every bride is nervous about anything that might go wrong at any time during her big day, but the professionalism and the absolute warmth and friendliness of the staff gave me and everyone else complete confidence,” she explains.

“Our family members and our guests all agree that it was a marvelous occasion, a wonderful day,” she recalls.

The lavish Centara Anda Dhevi Resort & Spa Krabi is set within its own landscaped gardens just 100 metres away from Nopparat Thara Beach, and is conveniently close to the center of Ao Nang, with its shopping and entertainment facilities. The resort offers 135 rooms and suites, and a number of Deluxe Pool units, together with the Honeymoon Suite, offer direct pool access.

With modern indoor and outdoor facilities to host special events, the fully-equipped function room is suitable for accommodating up to 150 guests for a wedding or other event, while the poolside area also offers an ideal and picturesque outdoor venue for romantic weddings abroad.
